House in Hampstead, London
My clients found this newly-renovated house and very unusually I was asked to just furnish it without the architectural design work I normally provide. This classically detailed house has wonderfully high ceilings throughout and we decided to furnish it with cutting-edge modern furniture. Most of the furniture in the living room and master bedroom was made for us by Roche Bobois, including a very large rug. I felt the living room needed a large, abstract painting to complete the picture so we commissioned the artist Estelle Thompson to create a painting 240cms long x 120cms high.
The black and white painting in the master bedroom is by a Thai artist and was supplied by Ecco Trading Ltd. All the large mirrors came from Trade Fair International Ltd and I purchased many of the accessories from Libra.
Then several other items came from Bo Concept including the dining table and chairs. Finally I placed 4 large palm trees in each corner of the dining room to create a slightly tropical feel.
